Do I like the $5 Hallmark cards? Sure...but when you have countless friends, that can add up to big bucks. I remember in the not to distance past where I spent $60 on cards and I left the store with a teeny tiny bag that left me speechless.
Why not make my own? I personally don't have a lot of time to make intricate cards. The term Simple and I get along famously! Too many steps to make something, or if it takes longer than a day then it just won't get done. I try to make 5 or 6 cards at a time. I purchased the blank cards on sale at 10 for $5. Again I just used a plain stamp and some embellishments.
If giving a gift I find that plain brown postal paper works like a charm. You don't have to worry if you have girl paper or boy paper or if you are able to recycle it. You use the same postal paper for everything and add a quick bow which can always be reused. Voila! A no fuss, no worry gift giving option.
