You can make your own tea to help with PMS pain, bloating and irritability. When making teas the #1 thing on my list is TASTE. I don't care if a plant is good medicinally for me if it tastes like crap I'm not going to drink it and the ingredients are wasted. I feel you can make teas that are effective and taste yummy at the same time.
To make your tea you will need to blend together your dehydrated herbs:
1 part Lemonbalm
1 part Peppermint
1 part Calendula OR Chamomile OR both
1 part Bergamont
2 parts Red Clover
Combine the herbs and store in a mason jar until ready to use. Steep 1 Tablespoon of the herbs in a cup of hot water and add honey if you wish.
Lemonbalm is known for its stress relieving properties.
Peppermint is used to relieve bloating and headaches.
Calendula is used for those suffering from painful periods.
Chamomile is known to relieve cramping, anxiety and insomnia.
Bergamont is used for cramps.
Red Clover is used hot flashes and breast tenderness.
Disclaimer: Do not use this tea if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
