Years of trying to find good quality products that weren't overpowering and that actually worked without all the standard chemicals was difficult. When I created my Spa business I was able to control what was in my personal products.
The picture is of my home shower in the main bath. That's it. That's honestly all I use. In general we apply over 200 chemicals onto our skin each day. I refuse to be okay with that. Our skin is the largest organ in our body and absorbs what we put on it.
Shampoo is a huge offender. I have recipes for natural shampoos but they have a very short shelf life and need to be stored in the fridge. Tres inconvenient. I am the lesser of all evils. My shampoo and conditioner are organic based, scented with 100% essential oils and are paraben and SLS Free. I can live with that.
Facial scrub from my shop, handcrafted soap and my body scrub make up the rest of my body care routine.
The washcloth is upcycled and made with love from a friend. The pumice stone I use everyday for my horrible heels.
Use razors with refillable blades to help cut down on what is going into our landfills.
Keep it simple. You really don't need much more.
