Perfect idea for the daddy in your life. This is a simple, useful gift that the kids can help you make. I've made this BBQ Sauce since I was a teenager and it tastes amazing on chicken or steak.
In a small saucepan combine:
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
the juice of one lemon or 2 tblsps white vinegar
4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce (be careful sometimes this contains gluten) or you can substitute Braag's Soya Sauce instead
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cloves garlic minced
Stir ingredients together and cook on medium low. Just long enough to heat it so that the sugar dissolves. Pour into a small jam jar and label :) Good in the fridge for up to a month.
