In a small pot over medium high heat bring to a boil 2 cups milk or coconut milk depending on you dietary restrictions. Add to this 2 tablespoons sugar or honey. You can also add a titch of rum extract or coconut extract etc to change it up a bit. I also sprinkled about 1/2 tsp of cinnamon to the milk.
In a small bowl mix 3 tablespoons custard powder to 1/2 cup COLD milk. Stir until dissolved. Add to the hot milk and stir for about 1 minute. Remove from heat and pour into custard dishes. You can serve this warm or cold. I like it either way. However, if serving cold remember to place Saran Wrap over top if you don't want the custard to form a skin.I topped my with wild blueberries that we collected in the late summer that have been hiding in my freezer. This is an easy dessert that isn't over the top sweet. Enjoy!
