This is one of my go to recipes. If I need a quick dessert that everyone will enjoy I break out my apple peeler and get to work.
Grease a medium baking dish and preheat your oven to 350F.
Peel, core and chop 6-8 medium sized apples. It really depends on how much apple you prefer. Sometimes I do more if I have extra apples on hand.
In a medium bowl mix:
2 cups quick cooking oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup oat flour
1/4 cup ground nuts
1/3 cup melted butter
Combine the topping ingredients until well mixed and crumble over top of the apples. Depending on the type of apples you use you will need to bake from 20-30 minutes. Insert a fork and when the apples are soft the crisp is done. Serve with Coconut Milk or Ice Cream if you can have dairy.
